St. Jorge Winery is about more than just great wine, it's an experience that will sweep you off your feet and take you to a land far away.
Vern J. Vierra, the owner of St. Jorge Winery, grew up making wine alongside his father and grandfather. The labor of love turned out to be a yearly social event bringing together family to make the best wine with their secret methods. After much success among his family and friends, it was easy to turn his passion for making wonderful wine into a business reality.
Deeply inspired by their many trips to Europe, the Vierra's sought out to recreate their experiences into a winery. That winery opened for business in August of 2009, and offers a one of a kind experience that you will never forget. With its Mediterranean architecture, it will take you to a place far away where you can forget your every day stresses and just relax with an exceptional glass of wine.

One of the oldest vineyards in Lodi (108 years old), these vines produce 1-2 tons per acre with fruit resembling that of Bordeaux, France. Ken Schmierer of Schmierer Vineyards was a fellow classmate of Vern Vierra, and passed away November 5, 2015. His passion for this smooth Lodi Cabernet.
Full flavored Verdelho with tropical, lifted characters and a zesty palate of fresh pineapple, pear and apricot. The nose, with its tones of lemon zest and fresh apple, is inviting. A classy partner to a long, lazy lunch, though perfectly delightful served alone.
This is our best vintage yet, grown right on our Estate! This Portuguese clone of Tinta Roriz was aged in French Oak for 17 months; medium bodied perfection achieved by whole-berry fermentation with well balanced, vibrant fruit character of berries, plum and vanilla with balanced spice ending with elegantly smooth long tannins.
An award-winning single vineyard, planted on a steep mountain slope composed mostly of granite. This wine is full and rich, with round flavors of plum. Pairs well with grilled red meats or veggies with it's boldness and body.
Another award winning vineyard planted in 1914, a very rare and unique location as one of Lodi's oldest vineyards. The full flavors of these century old vines are well balanced tannin structure with a smooth lingering finish.
